Jessica Bartlett Chevrier

Jessica Chevrier is a Licensed Marriage/Family Therapy Associate in El Paso, Texas. She specializes in the systemic treatment of individuals, couples, and families.

Jessica earned her Bachelor's in Marriage/Family Science from Brigham Young University. After some time as a family life educator, she decided to go back and get her Master's in Marriage/Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University. She uses an integrated model to offer a holistic approach. Jessica's therapeutic work is based on Bowen Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems. It is also informed by techniques from Gottman Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. She is also an Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT) Level 1 Certified Provider.

I strive to create a comfortable environment in which clients are able to share their issues. I have experience working with those dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, marital discord, and family issues. I walk alongside my clients to bring to light their distress and empower change.

I believe in making connections between past experiences and current distress to bring healing. I am basic EMDR trained and utilize these techniques in overcoming client issues. By bringing awareness to internal dialog and emotions, I can assist clients with creating change.

I consider it a privilege to join my clients on their journey to better mental health. By overcoming obstacles, and learning coping techniques, clients are able to have the confidence to be the experts of their own lives and relationships. I am honored to be able to help those who come into my room.
